About

A smiling man sitting on a mint-green sofa using a laptop in a kitchen with exposed brick walls and open shelves.

We started in the sober living space, housing people transitioning out of inpatient treatment. Over time, we saw that while treatment is important, many people leave without the basics they need to succeed.

We’ve seen countless people leave inpatient treatment with almost nothing: no ID, no résumé to apply for jobs, no clothes, no money to replace these essentials, and no idea where to even begin with housing or benefits. These basics are often what cause people to stumble early in recovery.

That’s why we built our program differently.

On top of providing individual and group counseling. Our team helps clients navigate the complex system of benefits, housing, and employment resources. Providing the hands-on support that can mean the difference between relapse and long-term recovery.

Why Bison?

A bison walking in snow with snow on its face and horns.

When cattle see a storm coming, they run away from it, trying to avoid the pain and discomfort. But no matter how fast they run, the storm eventually overtakes them - leaving them stuck in it even longer.

Bison do the opposite. They charge into the storm, facing it head-on. By moving through it, they shorten their time in the struggle and reach calmer skies on the other side.

The fastest way through life’s challenges is to face them head-on.
